"Lights... Camera... Adam!" is the sixth episode of Season 4, which aired on June 1, 2004, in the US.
Synopsis
TV's Adam West helps Timmy land the role as Cleft, the Boy Chin Wonder in the blockbuster production of Crimson Chin: The Movie. But when Timmy jumps into his Chin comic book to find his "motivation", arch enemy and evil villain the Bronze Kneecap escapes and takes over the director's chair to destroy the film and the Chin's reputation![3]
Plot
Timmy takes a trolley tour of the Hollywood studio that is making a feature film about the Crimson Chin, learning to his disappointment that the movie set is closed to visitors. However, the trolley driver reveals himself to be Adam West, the actor playing the Crimson Chin. Adam brings Timmy to audition for the role of Cleft the Boy Chin Wonder. Timmy prepares by wishing to go into a Crimson Chin comic book as Cleft, only staying long enough to stand by a street and get splashed with mud. His audition is rejected before he can deliver more than one word of dialogue. The movie's director casts his personal assistant (who merely brought him a box of donuts) instead, though because of Timmy's resemblance to Cleft, he allows Timmy to stay in the movie as the Cleft stunt double.
The Bronze Kneecap about to attack Adam West
After Timmy's first scene is shot, the Bronze Kneecap, who escaped from the comic book after Timmy left, discreetly attacks the director and disguises himself as a new one. By adding scenes that feature the Crimson Chin doing an Irish dance with bank robbers and trembling in fear of villains while wearing a sailor suit, he reworks the movie to humiliate the Chin. Timmy fears this will make the Crimson Chin comic get canceled. He infers the new director's true identity from his pseudonym Frank Knee Capra and confronts him with Cosmo and Wanda. The Kneecap attempts to kill Timmy and Adam, then Timmy summons the real Crimson Chin, who fights the Kneecap through Hollywood (during which they crash into an interview with Britney Britney) and knocks him back into the comic book.
Crimson Chin: The Movie, finished using the footage Adam filmed of the Chin and the Kneecap's battle, gets cheers from the audience at its premiere. The Chin and Britney Britney attend the premiere as a couple as Britney thinks the Chin is Adam, who is off buying popcorn and telling the boy working the concession stand that he can play Cleft in the movie's sequel.
